Tyrese Gibson is gonna act like the innocent man he’s always been.

Miami prosecutors have dropped a felony citation against the “How You Gonna Act Like That” crooner for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident last month. The move came after his lawyers presented photos and other evidence showing Tyrese did nothing wrong.

“They will take no further action,” the 31-year-old R&B star’s attorney, Jayne Weintraub, tells E! News.

Gibson’s accident occurred on Jan. 4. The woman he hit, Sheena McCleary, claimed she suffered injuries and cops were called to the scene for a routine investigation and the usual exchange of insurance info.

From: http://tyresesworld.blogspot.com

LUCKY 14 ON FEBRUARY 14
This is your man, Tyrese. I am excited to announce that I will be holding a contest where I will pick 14 lucky ladies to treat to a massage, manicure, pedicure and other surprises on Valentine’s Day. Are you ready for this?

Here are the rules:

Email me a one page letter as to why you deserve to be the lucky pampered lady and attach a photo of you and your child (or children). I want to read your passion and desire for this, but don’t make it too wordy or you’ll put me to sleep. LOL!!! Also, I get a lot of letters and messages from my fans about how my tweets have motivated them in some way or another, but I’m curious as to how I have inspired YOU. What adjustments have you made in your life that you are most proud of? Which of my tweets have had a great impact and how have you been able to apply that to your life?

Send it to TyVday14@gmail.com and I will personally read every email to me and then decide who my 14 lucky single Valentine mothers are! And yes, you must be single mothers. I know what you single fathers are thinking, “What about me?” Right?? Although I do salute all the amazing fathers out there, this Valentine’s Day is about the ladies. So let’s all be gentlemen about this and let the females enjoy their day!!

The spa where you’ll be getting your treatments done is located in Los Angeles. So please know that the winners are responsible for their own travel and expenses to and from the spa. The location and times will be given to the winners. Remember, this day is about you! Arrange a babysitter for the children so you can get your well-deserved day of leisure! I love you all, and can’t wait to pamper the lucky ladies.

Deadline is Friday, February 12, 2010 at 12PM.

*For the winners, if for whatever reason you cannot make it, please give me at least a 24 hour notice with a doctor’s note!! LOL! (I’m just playin)

Peace out!!

• ‘We Are the World’ Remake Leaves Jordin Sparks, Tyrese, Celine Dion Starstruck
Tuesday, February 2, 2010

You would think that when celebrities like Kanye West, the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Celine Dion get into a room together, they’d be too jaded to get starstruck by the other A-listers in attendance. But when more than 80 singers, rappers and actors gathered on Monday to re-record “We are the World” to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, they were all pretty impressed by each other.

“We’re grateful because so many artists showed up,” Wyclef Jean said. “I think we have an all-star cast. Of course, there’s always artists that you wish was here, but every artist that I can think of… I seen Pink, Pink is incredible. Tyrese, Will.I.Am, Kanye West, I can keep going, so the room is definitely packed with stars.”

Tyrese noted, “I’ve never been in a room full of that many of my peers ever. I’m starstruck.” And Jordin Sparks added that the vibe was similar to that of a major award show.

• New voices unite for ‘We Are the World’
Tuesday, February 2, 2010
• Posted by: A-tina

Josh Groban pronounced the scene “inspired chaos” as an all-star chorus re-recorded We Are the WorldMonday at the studio where the original was taped 25 years ago. “It’s great to see so many legendary artists sweating it out (and) to be in the middle of a sandwich between Barbra Streisand and Weezy (Lil Wayne),” he said.

Quincy Jones, the original producer, and Lionel Richie, who co-wrote the song with Michael Jackson, were back to oversee We Are the World: 25 For Haiti, a contemporary update of the 1985 anthem. The 3-D video, shot by Paul Haggis, and song, which includes altered lyrics and an added rap segment pertaining to Haiti, will premiere Feb. 12 during NBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony. Proceeds from the release will go to Haitian relief efforts.

At Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Studios, roughly 80 singers, rappers and actors jammed into choir formation to repeatedly sing the familiar refrain. They snapped photos, exchanged phone numbers and collected autographs during breaks as the session stretched late into the night. Despite a clash of genres and generations that found Kanye West, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers rubbing shoulders with Brian Wilson, Jeff Bridges and Harry Connick Jr., the mood was cozy.

“It’s bubbly, it’s energetic, it’s thoughtful,” Natalie Cole said during a lull. “We’re all lookie-looing.”

Tyrese added, “You have everybody in there with flip cams. People are sending text messages. It’s a good energy.”
